Burials 1885

James Watt was born 8 October 1810, died 1 January 1885 and buried 12 January 1885.



Henriette Isabella Smith Robertson was born 19 December 1810, died 23 February 1885 and buried 25 February 1885. Henriette died in childbirth. Her husband is Alexander Robertson.




Hannah Walters Taylor was born 27 September 1822, died 8 March 1885 and buried 11 March 1885. Hannah died at 11:00 p.m. She is married to Abraham Taylor.




Vernon Bird was born 26 April 1853,died 9 March 1885 an buried 12 March 1885. His parents are Richard and Emeline Crandall Bird.




Leroy A. Waters was born 14 February 1885, died 26 March 1885 and buried 28 March 1885. Leroy died at 6:00 a.m. His parents are Richard and Emeline Crandall Bird.









Alice Hurst Scovil was born 18 February 1819, died 5 April 1885 and buried 6 April 1885. Alice died of breast cancer after suffering for 5 years. She is married to Lucius N. Scovil.












Clara M. Groesbeck was born 11 March 1885, died 5 April 1885 and buried 6 April 1885.
She is the daughter of John and Emmaline Edwards Groesbeck.





Ann Amanda Noakes was born 10 April 1885, died 10 April 1885 and buried 11 April 1885. She is the stillborn daughter of John H. and Susan Childs Noakes.









William Thomas Reynolds was born 13 March 1885, died 12 April 1885 and buried 13 April 1885. His parents are Joseph A. and Lorinda A. Tews Reynolds.

The funeral services were held at the house of J. A. Reynolds. James E. Hall conducted, John Tuckett gave the opening prayer. Benjamin Blanchard, Henry Manwaring Philo Dibble and James E. Hall spoke. John M. Clements closed with prayer.






Eunice Squire Blanchard was born 28 July 1797, died 5 May 1885 and buried 7 May 1885. She is the wife of Simeon Blanchard [deceased]. She is the m other of Benjamin Blanchard.







Xenia Walton was born 22 March 1885, died 20 May 1885 and buried 21 May 1885. She is the daughter of John J. and Anna Bissell Walton. She was buried on J. Bissell's lot.











Frances Ostler was born 30 April 1865, died 29 May 1885 and buried 31 My 1885. She is the
daughter of Samuel and Emma Beard Ostler. Frances died of Typhoid fever in her 20th year. 

The services were held at the cemetery gate. John Boyer made remarks giving a very good character to the  young woman who was about to be married, but was taken away by the hand of death suddenly. Benjamin Blanchard and James Hall also spoke.



Rowland child was the stillborn child of Samuel and Mary Boot Rowland. The child was buried on 10 August 1885.



Alma Curtis was born 11 January 1885, died 15 August 1885 and buried 16 August 1885. He is the son of Levi and Julia Wilde Curtis.











Phillip J. Ostler was born 27 March 1885, died at 10:00 a.m. on 8 September 1885 and buried 9 September 1885. Phillip died of Typhoid fever. He is the son of Samuel and Emma Beard Ostler.

Phillip was living with Jacob McCurdy. 





William H. Gentry was born in 1852. He was buried 15 September 1885. His wife is Sarah Dickens Starr Gentry. He is a relative of J. Stewart.




William Harrington was born 19 December 1884, died 14 September 1885 and buried 15 September 1885. He is the son of John and Maria Bastian Harrington.



Merrill Kindred was born 28 April 1884, died 1 October 1885 and buried 3 October 1885. He is the son of John and Luanna Bird Kindred. Merrill was buried on John Stewart's father's lot.



Lucian Hall was born 27 May 1853, died 8 November 1885 and buried 10 November 1885. Lucian died of Typhoid fever at 5:00 p.m. His wife is Sarah Timbrel Hall.



Lucinda Carolin Blowers was born 25 October 1871, died 7 November 1885 and buried 9 November 1885. Lucinda died in Tintic and was brought to Springville for interment. Her parents are Felix and Rachel Chadwick Blowers.



Norah Bate was orn 10 November 1885, died 10 November 1885 and buried 18 November 1885. Her parents are Richard and Mary Green Bate.



Fransannah Miller was born 12 April 1869, died 29 November 1885 and buried 30 November 1885. She is the daughter of John A. and Franceanna Rogers Miller.

She was buried on N. H. Groesbeck's lot. She was about  be married to John Groesbeck and a very good young woman between 16 and 17 years old.
